One credit covers 20 pages or part thereof, including references and embedded appendices. Credits are reserved only after you explicitly confirm a review and consent to AI submission. They are consumed once after the report is validated, stored and exported successfully to Word and PDF. A failed review releases its reservation; reopening or downloading an existing report costs no additional credits. Starting a new review requires fresh confirmation and sufficient credits.
PDF pages are counted from the actual file. Word files are counted after conversion of a normalized copy to A4 PDF; layout and fonts can affect pagination. Your original file is preserved. The confirmation page shows the measured count and required credits before you start.
AI review may fail validation or be unavailable. The report is advisory and needs author verification; it does not guarantee publication or replace formal journal peer review.
